Many people believe that it is cheaper to either employ an unskilled gardener or to try and garden themselves. Without the correct knowledge of gardens and gardening, this often results in Do It Yourself gardening becoming Destroy It Yourself gardening. Examples of this are “killing the garden with kindness”, under-watering or over-fertilising, not to mention the passionate but newbie owner who loves the garden but doesn’t know how to maintain it, or the hired labourer who is either hedging all your plants to death or mowing the grass to within an inch of its life. Even if you’ve had your gardener for many years, they know the basics about cutting hedges and grass and keeping things tidy, but they do not know how to nurture and maintain your precious garden.
At Bloomings, we love what we do, we are knowledgeable and skilled and are happy to train and share our knowledge with you and/or your gardener so that you can both become seasoned gardeners who can enjoy nurturing and growing your garden successfully.
